D. Scott Miller is the Co-Owner & Principal Broker of Nest Realty Roanoke. Scott began his real estate career in 1990. For the first 20 years Scott was involved in commercial real estate for Fortune 500 companies. Scott rose through the corporate ranks and achieved the level of Senior Vice President, Real Estate with Advance Auto Parts. Following his corporate career, Scott launched his real estate development company. In 2013 Scott ventured into the residential real estate market acquiring rental properties as well as remodeling older homes. This is where Scott met his future wife and business partner, Kim Miller. In March of 2019, Kim and Scott launched their real estate firm, Nest Realty Roanoke. Scott has served on nonprofit boards for 17 years and has achieved the level of Chairman of the Board for both Junior Achievement and DePaul Community Resources. Scott currently serves on the RVAR Broker Council, Standard Forms and Standards of Practice Committees. Kim and Scott have four great kids and six wonderful grandchildren. And of course, we don’t want to leave out their 2 fur kids, Peyton and Pippa.
