Paws for Mental Health
Paws for Mental Health is a FREE community event for youth and families, promoting mental wellness and resilience. Hosted by the Tudor House Teen Ambassadors, this event features trained therapy dogs from Therapets, a nationally recognized Pet Partners of America group! 🐾💙
Hosted by the Tudor House Teen Ambassadors, this event aims to spark positive conversations about mental health in a relaxed, fun environment.
In addition to the therapy dogs, the event will include:

💛 Mental Health Resources for youth, families & caregivers
🎨 Creative Activities for self-care & expression
🍔 Food Trucks

Blue Ridge Marathon
The Blue Ridge Marathon is an incredible event, and Tudor House is excited to host an aid station along the course to support and cheer on the runners. Join us as a volunteer to hand out water, provide encouragement, and make a difference for participants tackling America’s toughest road race.
Can’t make it to our station? You can still volunteer anywhere on the course and be part of the Tudor House volunteer team!
L.E.T.S. Saves Lives (Virtual)
Join the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention for a virtual training.
L.E.T.S. (listening, empathy, trust, support) Save Lives: An Introduction to Suicide Prevention for Black and African American Communities is a presentation created by and for Black people, designed to reduce cultural stigma, foster conversations about mental health, and raise awareness of suicide prevention for individuals who identify as Black or African American. The program is grounded in research and delivered by trained presenters from the Black and African American community.

Join the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention for a virtual training.
Talk Saves Lives: An Introduction to Suicide Prevention is AFSP’s 60-minute flagship suicide prevention education program that covers the scope of this leading cause of death, what the research has found to be the warning signs and risk factors of suicide, and the strategies that prevent it.
