Looking for resources to better understand the challenges teens face today? Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare is hosting Hidden in Plain Sight: Spot Signs of Risky Teen Behaviors.

This FREE, interactive evening is for parents and caregivers (18+). You’ll have the chance to explore a mock teen bedroom to identify hidden warning signs of risky behaviors like vaping, alcohol use, sexting, and struggles with anxiety or depression. The program also features M.P.O. Smith of the Culpeper Police Department and a panel of local professionals, plus raffles and giveaways.

Paws for Mental Health is a FREE community event for youth and families, promoting mental wellness and resilience. Hosted by the Tudor House Teen Ambassadors, this event features trained therapy dogs from Therapets, a nationally recognized Pet Partners of America group! 🐾💙

Hosted by the Tudor House Teen Ambassadors, this event aims to spark positive conversations about mental health in a relaxed, fun environment.

In addition to the therapy dogs, the event will include:

💛 Mental Health Resources for youth, families & caregivers
🎨 Creative Activities for self-care & expression

L.E.T.S. (listening, empathy, trust, support) Save Lives: An Introduction to Suicide Prevention for Black and African American Communities is a presentation created by and for Black people, designed to reduce cultural stigma, foster conversations about mental health, and raise awareness of suicide prevention for individuals who identify as Black or African American. The program is grounded in research and delivered by trained presenters from the Black and African American community.
