Our Teen Ambassadors consist of high schoolers across the Roanoke Valley, including Roanoke City, Roanoke County, Salem, Franklin County and Botetourt. 

We value inclusion and encourage teens of all backgrounds, sexuality, ability, race, ethnicity, gender and age to apply.

We meet once a month at the Jefferson Center to discuss our current agenda and upcoming events.

There is also one additional committee meeting a month.

e invite any middle, high, or college student to join TEAM: Teens Engaged in Advocacy for Mental Health.

TEAM is a Tudor House teen volunteer group. We need volunteers for various events, including Comfort Bag packing and letter writing, Paws for Mental Health, and other special events. We will also provide opportunities for this group to engage with our Teen Ambassadors and discuss mental health advocacy in our community. Those who complete this form will receive email notifications of our volunteer needs and also be personally invited to our teen outreach events!

Teen Ambassadors are representatives of Tudor House in the community, demonstrating leadership, inclusion, and understanding of mental health advocacy. They also learn vital skills while participating in one of 3 Teen Ambassador Committees: Outreach, Events, and Social Media.

Teen Ambassadors spearhead outreach events, like inviting friends to a Paint Day or hosting an awareness night at Rail Yard Dawgs Hockey. They also volunteer at local events, such as Mental Health Awareness Days at our schools, the Blue Ridge Marathon, and our Annual Big Kahuna held in August.
