Mike Puckett is a Roanoke native, entrepreneur, and community advocate who believes that strong communities are built through meaningful relationships, shared opportunities, and a commitment to serving others. As someone who has navigated his own mental health challenges, Mike understands the importance of connection, purpose, and having people who genuinely care. Those experiences have shaped both his personal outlook and his professional mission to create spaces where individuals and organizations can thrive.

Mike is the Founder and Owner of SWVA Connections Co, a regional business growth ecosystem dedicated to helping businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations gain visibility, build relationships, and grow through collaboration. His work is driven by a belief that when people come together with a shared purpose, entire communities benefit.

A graduate of Patrick Henry High School, Mike earned a degree in Biblical Studies from Liberty University and has built a career centered on leadership, service, and community impact. He was recognized as one of United Way’s 100 Unsung Heroes in 2025, selected for Leadership Roanoke Valley’s Class of 2026, and named to Roanoker Magazine’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2026.

Mike serves on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of Southwest Virginia and volunteers his time supporting educational and civic initiatives throughout the region. He is particularly passionate about encouraging conversations around mental health, personal growth, and resilience, while helping others discover their strengths and potential.

Known for his ability to bring people together and create meaningful partnerships, Mike is committed to strengthening Southwest Virginia through leadership, service, and connection. Whether working with local businesses, supporting nonprofit organizations, or mentoring future leaders, he remains focused on creating lasting impact throughout the communities he calls home.
